For those who are visual planners, it can be helpful to walk through the event space with your planner, vendors, friends and family. To help you, we open our property by appointment only. If you haven't booked but are interested in seeing the space, this is also a perfect opportunity! If you need a time outside of this window please let us know.

WHAT ARE THE BOOKING requirements?
TO officially retain and book your event at sugarfoot, we require a signed contract and a retainer of 1/3 of your invoice total.
upon written request, we will temporarily hold a date for 7 days. if someone else inquires about the date during those 7 days, you will be notified and given first right of refusal. after the 7 days, the hold is no longer in place and the date will be available.
when can i come for a tour?
we are open on tuesdays from 9 am to 5 pm, please give us advance notice if you plan to stop by.
For all other days of the week, please schedule an APPOINTMENT. we love to make ourselves as available as possible, so we will do our best to work with your schedule. just Let us know when you'd like to come out and tour the space!
when do we get access to the venue and when must we leave?
For 1 day rentals, you will get access to the property at 8 am. plenty of time for hair and makeup to get started. most vendors begin arriving around 10 am.
the evening ends by 11 pm and all vendors must be offsite by midnight. if you are needing to stay later, please let us know and we can disucss extended hours packages.
can my pet be a part of my event?
fur babies are awesome! but we all know they can also be adorable little mischief makers, so while we do allow pets we do require them to have an attendant on site whos sole job is to monitor them. if it helps, we can recommend a vendor who offers an on site pet sitting service.
we want to make sure everyone is safe, including your furry little love ones. remember, they might get tired, so you can have them join for photos and the ceremony then return them home for the rest of the evening.
Can we have an engagement session or bridal photoshoot?
if you have a signed contract for your event date, part of your package includes access to the property before the wedding day for photoshoots such as engagement or bridal portraits. we do ask that you let us know when you plan on coming so we can confirm there is no other event happening at that time.
if you are not having your event at sugarfoot but would like to access the property for a photoshoot, we offer an hourly rental rate of $150/hour.
Do I have to use your vendors?
most of our clients book our all inclusive packages because we include HAND SELECTED reputible vendors for you.
if you choose our rental only option, we have a list of preferred vendors who all have access to our property.
if you use someone not off of our list, we require them to be licensed and insured and we must have a copy of that a minimum of 30 days before the event.
is there a kitchen area for the caterers?
yes, there is! caterers have access to A CARTER HOFFMAN HEATING UNIT for plated meal prep, 2 full refrigerators, 1 freezer, catering sink, counterspace for prep.
OUR DESIGNATED BAR, SEPARATE FROM THE KITCHEN, IS A BUILT IN BAR. IT HAS MARBLE COUNTERTOPS inside, A SINK AND PREP AREAS FOR THE BARTENDERS TO UTILIZE.
what is your cancelation policy or rescheduling policy?
if you have booked your event with us but need to cancel we require both an advanced notice in writing of at least 90 days prior to the event date and a signed cancellation contract. after the cancellation contract is signed you are no longer responsible for any future payments. all payments prior to the date of the cancellation contract being signed are non refundable.
if you are needing to reschedule your date after booking there is a rescheduling fee of $500.
Are there any restrictions on what I can have for my event exit?
we are happy to accomodate most all exit types. sparklers and bubbles can only be used outside of the venue on the concrete. birdseed and fake flower petals are not to be used on the property. for real petals, we ask that you please have someone clean up after the exit or there is $100 clean up fee that you will be invoiced for after the event.
is smoking allowed on property? Cigars? E-Cigs?
there is no smoking or vaping allowed inside of the venue. WITH OUR WOODLAND SETTING, FOR SAFETY, we do allow smoking outside within our designated smoking areas. if someone is found to be smoking inside of the building thERE IS $500 smoking CLEANing FEE that YOU WILL BE INVOICED FOR AFTER THE EVENT.
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON DECORATIONS I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
IF YOU ARE NEEDING TO HANG SOMETHING WE ONLY ALLOW COMMAND STRIPS OR COMMAND HOOKS TO BE USED.
No nails, staples, push pins, holes, masking, duct tape, tacks, electrical tape, transparent tape, double stick tape may be used on the property.

Do you have any rentals available for us to use?
yes! we have 24 - white round 96" polyester linens, 8 - Black polyester 8' Linens, and 8 - black polyester 6' lnens available for rent at $20/each.

Venue for all disputes arising under this Agreement shall lie exclusively in the Courts of the State of Tennessee in Rutherford County or the Federal District Courts of the District of California (as permitted by law) and each party agrees not to contest the personal jurisdiction of these courts. Notwithstanding the foregoing, however, Sugarfoot shall have the right to commence and prosecute any legal or equitable action or proceeding before any non-US court of competent jurisdiction to obtain injunctive or other relief in the event that, in the opinion of Sugarfoot, such action is necessary or desirable.
